Section 02 / Why install week slips

The Job Is Ready. Install Week Can Still Go Sideways.

Every install day depends on the crew, the material and the homeowner lining up on the same morning. When one is off, you pay for it.

None of that is a building problem. It is an office problem that lands on the crew.

Section 03 / From production ready to a closed job

Fence Crew Scheduling and Field Admin, Start to Close

Scheduling, material, the homeowner, your crew, changes and closeout, run the same way on every install and kept inside your systems, as set up in How It Works.

A job that is not production ready does not get a crew.

Every job arrives from pre-construction with its status already checked, so nothing is scheduled on a guess.

Fence installs sequenced by proximity, not booking order.

Jobs are grouped geographically where the schedule allows, so a crew is not crossing the county between installs. Install dates are set against material readiness and crew capacity, not whoever signed first.

Material confirmed with the vendor before the truck rolls.

The day before install, we confirm the drop or the pick-up with your vendor: what is coming, where it goes and when it is ready.

When the crew is coming, when material is dropping, and what they need to do first: gates, pets, vehicles. Then a reminder the day before.

Questions Contractors Ask About Field Production

Who sets the install order?

Your rules do. Within them, we group installs by area and check material and crew capacity before a date goes to the homeowner.

What is in the crew’s route map?

Everything for the job: scope, gate details, material list, install steps and homeowner notes. It goes out before they leave the yard.

Do you contact the homeowner?

Yes, in your company’s name. They get the install date, how to prepare and a reminder the day before, so the crew is not met by a locked gate.

What if weather or material moves the date?

We move the job, tell the homeowner, rebuild the crew’s route and order a relocate if the 811 marks will expire. All the same day.

Do you handle closeout?

Yes. Walkthrough booked, final invoice created in your system and the balance followed up until paid. The payment goes straight to you.

Can I see where every install stands?

Yes. Each step, from install date to closed job, is on the customer card in your CRM.
